Follow Nefertari
Follow Nefertari as she catches you up on the natron mine. Her first stop is at a wounded worker (2); she administers natron to disinfect the wound.
The next stop is at the top of the hill (3). Nefertari asks you to light the three torches at the Anubis shrines. There’s one to the south (6), one atop the natural well (4), and one inside the Bent Pyramid (5).
Find and Ignite the Three Ceremonial Torches
Send Senu up in the air to locate the three torches. Head to the north one first (4). Head across the mine and climb the cliff to reach the natural well.
Investigate the Well for the Missing Torch Head
Natural Well
Activate Animus Pulse when standing at the top of the well. Interact with the fallen torch and the broken fence with traces of blood. Dive into the well below and pull up to the ledge to interact with the pool of blood. Dive into the water and interact with the floating body. Lastly, dive underwater and find the torch head.
Investigate the Well for the Missing Torch Head
Natural Well
Activate Animus Pulse when standing at the top of the well. Interact with the fallen torch and the broken fence with traces of blood. Dive into the well below and pull up to the ledge to interact with the pool of blood. Dive into the water and interact with the floating body. Lastly, dive underwater and find the torch head.
Repair the Broken Well
Place the ceremonial lamp piece on the lamp (Bayek stands it up and finds a charm under it). Light the ceremonial torch with your own torch. Ride to the Bent Pyramid (5). Following the road, you’ll pass the stranded natron caravan (7). Be careful of the bandit ambush that occurs if you loot the treasure. It’s worth it.
The Bent Pyramid of Sneferu
Enter the Bent Pyramid of Sneferu (5). For instructions on getting into the chamber, see Side Quest: First Blood. This is also where the torch is located. Once inside, light the torch and then head for the final torch at the hyena lair.
Saqqara Hyena Lair
On your way to the hyena lair (6), you will likely encounter some bandits on horseback. Defeat them before you get to the hyena lair so you don’t have double the enemies to deal with.
Defeat the Level 23 hyenas and the Level 25 leader to complete the location objective. Use Animus Pulse to locate some strange clues. Check out the hanging pig carcass and the charms in the cave containing the torch.
Light the torch in the cave and collect the loot (treasure is behind the pig carcass and the hyena parts).
Speak to Nefertari
Nitria
Speak to Nefertari (8), who is at the end of a long, high platform overlooking Nitria. This unlocks Side Quest: When Night Falls.
