Details: Aya and Bayek believe they’ve been betrayed by the Romans. They go to investigate Alexander’s Tomb to figure out what their enemies are planning.
Alexandria, Sarapeion
Two Weeks Later
Two weeks later, Apollodorus, Cleopatra, and Caesar are celebrating their victory with the people of Alexandria. Standing between them is none other than Septimius. This won’t sit well with Bayek and Aya.
Later That Day
Aya corners Apollodorus outside the palace. She screams at him for standing with Septimius and for being banned from the palace. Cleopatra released them as Medjays and paid them off in gold. Caesar is now protecting the Order and not judging Septimius. The man who killed their son is now Apollodorus’s ally, and they’ll do anything to kill Septimius. Caesar is upset that Aya killed Ptolemy, yet Cleopatra gave her the order. Apollodorus asks them to wait things out, but that doesn’t sit well with our betrayed husband and wife team.
Speak to Aya
That night, Bayek and Aya meet at Phanos’s house with their true friends, who form a brotherhood and develop a creed. They swear to stand and fight together to fix what they have mistakenly created and to eradicate corruption. Aya walks out of the meeting feeling guilty for defending Cleopatra. Bayek and Aya discuss why Septimius and Flavius have so much interest in Alexander’s Tomb.
Reach the Tomb of Alexander the Great
Speak to Aya (1) after the cutscene. You and Aya head to the Tomb of Alexander the Great (2). Aya runs off her frustration instead of taking a horse to the tomb. It gives the two of you more time to catch up and share your feelings about the latest developments.
Caesar’s Roman soldiers stand guard, four strong, at the gates of the tomb. Follow Aya up the wall to avoid them. Or you can drop down in the middle of them and take them on.
Defend Apollodorus
Enter the tomb. The doors are now open (Aya opened them earlier). Descend the stairs to the lower level. Roman soldiers are attacking Apollodorus around Alexander’s tomb. There are three Level 31 soldiers to defeat before you can check on Apollodorus, who is lying on the ground before the tomb. Watch your back, as another soldier will enter the tomb behind you.
Apollodorus, bleeding heavily, tells you that Flavius killed your son and that they took the orb from him and headed for Siwa. With his dying breath, he urges you go to Siwa to save your people. They are in danger.
