Craft a Breastplate
A breastplate requires soft leather, which you can obtain from hunting hyena, gazelle, and ibex. Use Senu to mark these animals traveling in herds around Siwa. Return to Bayek, mount a camel or horse, and track down the targeted animal. Shoot it with arrows. You can do this on foot or from your mount.
You can also loot the animal while remaining on your mount. If you run out of arrows (which can be retrieved from your victims), then use a long spear.
Hunting from a mount is much easier, as you can chase down the herd when they scatter after the first kill. Get behind the herd and keep picking them off.
To complete this quest, you need only five pieces of soft leather. Enter the Gear tab in the menu and select the breastplate. Hover over the box and the crafting interface appears. Press the Craft button and hold it until the gauge fills to craft the breastplate.
Continuing to craft your breastplate raises your health. Each time you level it up, a new number of various resources are required to craft up to the next level.
To the left of the breastplate, you’ll see that you can also increase your melee damage by crafting the bracer; farther left is a stabilizer glove for increasing range damage; and a quiver for increasing arrow capacity.
