Assassin's Creed Origins Guide › Side Quests › Kanopos Nome Side Quests

Wild Ride

Prerequisite: Complete Side Quest: Old Times

Suggested Level: 12

Reward: 1,000 XP, Rare Mount

Speak to Nikias

Bayek needs to speak to Nikias (2) at his father’s estate to learn more about the green team.

Zephyros Stables: Papyrus Puzzle

You can find the Dead End Papyrus Puzzle (3) on a table in the stable’s southwest corner. The stables are a rock’s throw from where you meet Nikias.

Mount the Chariot with Nikias

Follow Nikias back toward the stables and mount the chariot (4) with Nikias as your passenger.

Race the Course

You must race a course around the estate. There are 12 checkpoints, yet no time limit. Follow the markers on the course and pass through all the checkpoints while you carry on a conversation with Nikias.

Speak to Philocrates

Dismount the chariot and approach Philocrates (5) in the corral. He says horse thieves stole his winningest horse. They strongly suspect the blue team is behind this.

Follow Nikias to the Bandit Hideout

Nikias and three of his friends from the green team mount nearby horses and take off to find the bandits who stole the prize horse. Call your mount and ride after them. Before you even leave the estate, you may encounter a soldier (6) or two before accessing the main road. The team will stop and attack any bandits or soldiers along the way, so prepare to use many arrows. If more soldiers are just randomly passing by on the road, then this battle with a single soldier could escalate.

A random encounter with a large group of soldiers on horseback could occur at the intersection (7) to the east. Use the warrior bow first and then switch to another bow if you run out of arrows. You may lose some of the company here, but it doesn’t matter. Jump down, collect arrows, and then remount. Follow Nikias across the river (8). Nikias turns sharply left and heads north across the river.

On the north end of the small island (beyond the river crossing) you’ll encounter a band of bandits on horseback near the second shallow river crossing (9). Defeat them with arrows and heavy weapon attacks.

Find and Bring Back Saganaki to the Estate

With the bandits eliminated, follow the marker due north to the bandit camp.

Shrine of Serepis: Loot Treasure

On your way to the bandit camp, you can stop at the nearby Shrine of Serepis (10). The treasure is in a small cave with a narrow opening below the shrine. Elements of Side Quest: Taste of Her Sting are also located around the shrine, so page ahead if you need help with that.

Als Hideout

Prerequisite: Approach the Hideout

Suggested Level: 11

Location Reward: 400 XP

Location Objectives: Kill one captain, loot one treasure

Send Senu over the hideout to mark the bandits. The large rock hill (12) at the back of the camp offers some fun opportunities. Climb up the rock hill and crouch down.

Spot Saganaki (13) below to your left and near a Y-shaped tree. You can jump into the Y in the tree and then leap to the next tree before dropping into a haystack. From the haystack, you can hit many of the bandits in the camp with arrows while remaining in stealth.

Find the treasure in the open tent under the central tree. Defeat all the bandits to win the location objective. Loot all the containers and mount Saganaki (13). Ride her back to Philocrates (5) at the estate. Follow a path similar to the one you used to reach the bandit camp so that you cross the rivers in the shallow areas. Philocrates thanks you by rewarding you with a Rare Mount.
