Speak to the Blind Man
Balagrae
Find the old blind man (1) lying on the side of the road southeast of Balagrae. Speak to him.
Carry the Blind Man to the Clinic in Balagrae
Pick the blind man up and place him on your mount. Follow the marker to the Praxilla’s clinic (2). Drop him on the marker on the blanket next to the healer Theramenes.
Speak to the Healer Theramenes
Theramenes says he can help but first he needs some ingredients and gives you a list.
Collect the Ingredients for the Medicine
You need to collect two ibex horns and three snake venom. A marker appears on the map to the southeast. Head there now and send Senu up to scan the ground in that area (3) for cobras. You can find more than you need. Kill a few and collect the remains.
Just a little farther east are many ibex (4). Hunt three and collect the remains.
Bring the Ingredients to Theramenes in the Clinic
Return to Theramenes (2) at the clinic and hand over the supplies. Now he says he needs Silphium from the depot.
Find and Steal Silphium Extract from the Depot
Depot
Head north to the depot (5), which is directly across the street from Balagrae Roman Barracks. You don’t want to cause a big ruckus or you’ll have reinforcements coming over from the barracks. Send Senu up to locate the extract (8) and to mark the soldiers around the barn.
Approach the barn from the big boulders (5) in the back corner. Enter the tall grass and drop to the ground in more tall grass. There are usually two guards behind the barn.
You may catch one relieving himself (6) and the other (7) at the doorway. From the tall grass, assassinate the urinating guard and perform a chain assassination on the guard at the door.
Come back around the corner of the barn and throw a sleep dart at the guard (8) in the large entrance. Enter the barn and take the Silphium extract from the ground on the barn’s bottom level.
Bring the Extract to Theramenes
Back out of the barn the way you entered. You could cut through the Asklepieion’s yard, jumping the fence for a more direct route back to the clinic (2). Give the extract to the healer to complete the quest.
