Catch the Thief
While in South Memphis (1), you come across a shopkeeper yelling for your help stopping a thief. Chase the boy down the alley, through the streets, and up some stairs.
At the top of the stairs, he drops into a hole in a rooftop (2). Expect a fight with three bandits in the building below. Shoot arrows down into the hole to take out as many as you can and then jump down and fight the remaining bandit(s).
Talk to the street urchin after rescuing him from bandits.
Reach the Memphis Shipyard
Head to the Memphis shipyard (3).
Investigate the Shipyard in Search of Kawit

Enter the large hole in the ship’s east side and investigate the ropes (4). You learn there are traces of oil. Investigate the doll (5) on the broken cage on the boat’s east side. Inspect the broken, burned ship mast (6). It’s quite colorful.
Speak to the oil salesman (7). He refuses to help without you paying him something. To make him talk, start destroying his vases of oil (8). Now talk to the oil salesman and he’ll spill the beans.
Find Kawit and the Children by the Kidnapper’s Ship
Head south along the shoreline and send Senu up to pinpoint Kawit’s location at Apagogeas Hideout (9).
Apagogeas Hideout

Location Reward: 600 XP
LOCATION REWARDS: Kill one captain, loot one treasure
Approach the small island camp from the water (9) west of the camp. The Level 24 captain (10) and his crew—four Level 23 bandits—occupy the hideout. The captain patrols back and forth across the small island, but you may catch him relieving himself in the tall grass; easily reach this by following the path of tall grass along the shoreline. Come up through the grass and assassinate him.
Find a captive child (11) hiding behind some bags on the ship. He tells you Kawit was taken to a house in the city near the temple of Hathor and that a rich lady named Gaia owns it. Grab the treasure from the tent to complete the location objective.
Find and Rescue Kawit in Gaia’s Villa

Head back to town and send Senu up to locate Kawit at Gaia’s house (12). Mark the Level 21 to 23 bandits as well. Approach the villa from the neighboring rooftop (12) and drop down onto the vine-covered pergola that covers a stairwell to the prison. Walk to the edge and perform a drop assassination on the prison guard (13) standing in the stairwell.
Find the Key to Open Kawit’s Cell Door
Enter the basement and speak to Kawit (14). She tells you that one of the bandits has a key to the cell. Send Senu to locate the key holder (15).
Crouch-walk up the stairwell and stop at the end to stay hidden from the group of bandits in the courtyard area. If the key holder does not move from the group, throw a torch near them to break up the party. The key holder is forced to patrol in your direction. When he crosses the top of the stairs (16), stealthily assassinate him and take Gaia’s villa cell key.
Rescue Kawit
Use the key to free Kawit and Matia. This unlocks Side Quest; Mortem Romanum.
