Investigate the Curse of Wadjet in the Greek
Soknopaiou Nesos
Speak to the stuttering man (1) in Soknopaiou Nesos.
Head north to the crime scene (2). Inspect the bloody, burned body on the ground. Shoot the vase and kill the cobra inside. Speak to the Greek guy in green who is bent over cleaning up the mess.
Find the Caretaker’s Shrine
Wadjet’s Burrow
Location Objective: Loot one treasure
REWARD: 300 XP
Send Senu west to find the entrance (3) into the Wadjet’s Burrow. Enter the cave entrance. Throw torches into the main room to ignite all the oil vases inside and to burn most of the cobras hiding inside large vases. Scan the floor with a bow to find living cobras. Kill them. Collect all the loot and find the treasure against the back-right wall to complete the location objective.
Explore the Caretaker’s Shrine
Read the Caretaker’s Letter on the candlelit table in the back of the cave.
Assassinate the Wadjet-Worshipping Caretaker
The racist guy and two very competent bandit fighters, who are well armored and skilled with their weapons, are waiting to ambush you outside the cave (3). Slowly move around the last bend in the tunnel and take out the racist with an arrow to the head; then quickly weaken the two bodyguards with arrows before they rush you.
If the battle starts in the narrow tunnel, run outside and deal with them in the open. Fight around the vase outside, so when they get smashed, the cobra inside could preoccupy one of the bandits long enough for you to kill the other. Dodge often to get beside or behind the target; their large shields prevent most straight-on attacks. Try a very powerful, quick sword. Use your adrenaline special to finish off one of them. Confirm the main target’s death.
Find and Rescue the Hostage in Pannouki
Pannouki Hideout
Prerequisite: Approach the Outpost

Location Reward: 300 XP
Location Objectives: Kill one captain, loot one treasure
Head northwest to the Pannouki Hideout and avoid the two guards (4) east of the hideout. Send Senu to locate the hostage. Find the guard platform (5) with arrows higher up the mountain and above the main entrance (6). Use the ladder in the hole to access the first landing. Mark the two bandits in the room below using a bow. If you have sleep darts, crouch and hit them in the legs to put them to sleep. Drop down and execute them. This often forces the Level 27 captain to patrol. Hide behind the hallway corner and stealthily execute him when he shows up. Alternatively, throw torches down the hole and the entire place will go up in flames, but the hostage will be safe.
Slide under the hole in the wall and take the treasure to complete the location objective. Pick up the hostage near the treasure and carry him out the main entrance (6). Head west to avoid any enemies you may have left alive. If that exit is still heavily guarded, stick to the right walls, heading west from the hostage’s pickup location. You’ll enter a front room with barricaded windows. One window has a V-shaped opening (8) that you can slip through while holding the hostage. Once clear of the hideout, put him down and talk to him.
Speak with the Hostage
Speak to the freed hostage. He thanks you without a stutter. This completes the quest.
