Assassin's Creed Origins Guide › Activities › Tombs and Ancient Mechanisms

Tomb of Smenkhkare

Territory: Haueris Nome

Silica Available: 12

Treasures: 4

Ancient Mechanism: Eeyoo Sekedoo Aat

Silica Required for Mechanism: 5

Segment: 4

Near the southern tip of the main island of Haueris Nome, pillars mark a hidden entrance to the tomb of Smenkhkare. It is best to allow Senu to scout the area first, as lions between Levels 25 and 26 patrol the area. This tomb is explored as part of the side quest “Seven Farmers,” so if possible, pick up the quest before attempting it.

Descend the steps and knock down the wall to get inside the tomb. At the top of the steps ahead, enter the small room on the right to find a couple treasure boxes on either side of a sarcophagus.

Run into the next chamber, where a hole in the ground leads to a pool of water below. Another coffin room is located ahead, but only one small-value container makes it of little worth. Once ready, take a leap of faith into the opening and dive underwater.

Look around to find two branches, one that ascends into another room, while the left path leads to a lower level. Follow the latter route and take the next left to find a jewelry box and treasure chest. Follow the main path into the next chamber, ascend out of the water, and step through the doorway to find another split. The right doorway leads back to where you came from, while the second enters a big cavern with two weight puzzles.

On the room’s far side, two elevators allow you to reach a balcony in the back left corner. There is a small room to the right with a Silica hidden behind a stone. Two more elevators need to be weighted correctly so that you can leap across them and reach the higher ledge on the right, but there are no weights to use on the platforms. Therefore, this puzzle must be solved with Bayek’s weight alone.

Move to the far right corner and quickly run across the left platforms to reach the corner balcony, staying on the move and holding down the Parkour Interaction button to make the jumps. Step into the corner room to find a Silica.

Continue onto the third elevator and allow it to lower all the way. Quickly hop across the next platform onto the hook at the corner, jump when the final elevator is within reach, and immediately run across the platform, leaping to the ledge to complete the room.

The next room holds the Ancient Tablet, but five Ptolemaic bandits guard the area. Lure them out one at a time, if possible, and take them down. Once you’ve eliminated the threat, collect three pieces of Silica and interact with the tablet to complete the tomb.

Ancient Mechanism: Eeyoo Sekedoo Aat

Squeeze through the narrow opening ahead, collect another Silica on the corridor’s right side, and dive into the water ahead. Collect another Silica underwater before climbing out and grabbing two more. In the next room, three more pieces of Silica sit on the floor near the Ancient Mechanism. After activating the device, step onto the circle and exit the tomb.
