Find the Tanner in His Hunting Camp
Bayek meets a woman (1) in Sau Village who is wife to the local tanner. She tells Bayek to seek the tanner out in his hunting camp.
Climb up the crumbled west wall beside the tanner’s wife. Climb and jump to the westernmost columns to find the scented oils (2) with other loot.
Travel northwest to the tanner’s hunting camp (3).
Defend the Tanner
You find the tanner wrestling with some crocodiles. Help him eliminate them and then loot the croc bodies.
Speak to the Tanner
Follow the tanner into his camp and speak with him. You tell him his wife sent you to help him hunt. He accepts your help and tells you that he needs hyena ears, crocodile eggs, and vulture skulls.
When you arrive at the small village of Mareia Port, loot the chest (A) near the blacksmith’s to complete the location objective.
Hunt Animals for the Tanner and Bring Back the Animal Parts He Needs
You need two vulture skulls, two crocodile eggs, and two hyena ears. Travel north from the camp to find the hyena lair (5). There is a high rock platform with a large branch hanging out over the water (4). Use a predator or hunting bow to shoot the 12 or so vultures to get more than the two skulls needed.
While standing on the vulture rock, look down over the west edge to find the hyena lair below. Shoot the hyena and take out as many as you can for soft leather crafting and trading.
Location Objective: Hyena Lair
Use Senu or your bow to locate the Level 14 leader of the pack in the hyena lair. Kill it to complete the location objective and earn 300 XP.
Loot the treasure and other containers on the vulture rock’s west side. If you need crocodile eggs, try the waters (6) below the vulture nesting grounds or along the coastline.
Continue hunting on the way back to the tanner’s camp (3) and clear his camp of wild animals. Give him the products he requested and the scented oils his wife wanted him to use. You earn a small amount of money for the scented oil gift.
