Charlie Valencia’s best attribute is Footwork. While his Speed rating at 83 is his best in number, these are bantamweights we are talking about—he is tied for slowest in the class.

His 82 Footwork rating lands him in the upper-middle of the pack, so despite his slowness, he can be pretty crafty in the pocket and has a Level 2 head kick that snaps up quickly for good damage.

Because he has no weak areas, attack the weak areas of your opponents and take the fight where they are most uncomfortable.

Use quick strikes to counter, and save your stamina for some big blows after you sway to set up the counters.

Valencia rates in the 70s in every skill area. So, he’s not terrible at anything, but conversely, he’s not really great at any part of the game either.

Use your strengths against him, and push the action to test his speed and cardio.

Many of the guys in the bantamweight division have excellent cardio and work ethic, but Valencia is definitely on the low end of the cardio scale.

Feel free to keep the fight on the feet, and you can clinch to negate any advantage he may have on the feet. Ground-and-pound him when it goes to the mat.
