ULTIMATE TECHNIQUES
RIGHT OVER HOOK
LEVEL 2 - BOTH STANDING, CLINCH RANGE
This powerful hook is one of Frye’s best punches. Bring this huge hook often, using its impressive speed to catch the opponent off guard with a powerful technique strike.
RIGHT HEAVY STRAIGHT
LEVEL 2 - BOTH STANDING, STRIKING RANGE
When fighting a more elusive opponent, try throwing this long, heavy straight right hand. Its speed and reach make it effective even against swift, rangy opponents who try to pick Frye apart.
STRONG LEFT/RIGHT UPPERCUT
LEVEL 2 - MUAY THAI CLINCH CAGE, OFFENSE
Frye is a beast when fighting in the clinch, so land these brutal technique blows to rock opponents with some of his trademark dirty boxing.

Don “The Predator” Frye was a tremendous fighter who dished out plenty of epic beatings back in the days of PRIDE. Frye packs great power in his fists and has excellent wrestling skills.
He can muscle his opponents around in the clinch and drive them to the mat with strong takedowns that put him into position to unleash some of his brutal ground-and-pound.
Look to land big power shots on the feet with Frye, but don’t commit to the stand-up battle—either clinch up or shoot in for a takedown as soon as you can, then hammer away with powerful dirty boxing and ground strikes.
Keep his opponents in disadvantageous grappling positions to minimize their athletic advantages and allow “The Predator” a chance to outwork them with his superior wrestling ability and excellent cardio.

Ground bottom grappling
“The Predator” is a beast of a grappler, so don’t give him a chance to put his big mitts on you. Keep away from him, remaining elusive by implementing superior footwork.
Attack his legs and body with quick kicks from the outside—”The Predator” suffers significant damage from his opponents’ kicks, so cripple his movement and agility with plenty of leg kicks to make him an even easier target on the feet.
Respect his punching power and keep your combos brief, darting out of countering range each time after you throw.
Don’t let him take you down, but don’t shy away from stuffing him onto his back if he’s becoming wild on the feet—he doesn’t do well when fighting from the bottom.
Frye is no easy mark for submissions, but he struggles to improve his position off his back—score a takedown and then work at achieving dominant position to exploit the lack of ground grappling defense in his game.
