_FINDERS KEEPERS
Location / ROSSI-FREMONT AREA
Points of Interest
01 // Rabbit’s Yard (Northwest)
This alley between row houses is typical of the northern part of this map. You should be familiar with the area from the main missions. This is a reasonably porous defensive point; find garage roofs to stand on and numerous Dumpsters and containers to hide in and backyards to take a stand in, all with an escape route in mind.
02 // Bedbug’s House and ctOS Tower (West)
Though the Y-shaped tenement blocks provide the landmarks, Bedbug’s row house street is a better place to hide; you can climb on many of the rooftops (especially the pitched roof of the light brown brick house; use the fridge by the garage to reach it, and tuck yourself between the sloped roof and next door). Also try climbing out of bounds and over the rail tracks to the ctOS tower area for a sniping spot.
03 // Police Surveillance Post (Southwest)
Infiltrated during the main missions, this has excellent places to hide—the blue container north, under the “tire shop” sign; the yard; the scissor lift to the overhang and stairs; and the numerous explosive traps inside. Seal the entrances with vehicles and IEDs and prepare to repel intruders!
04 // Apartment Blocks and Jay’s Garage (South Central)
With some vehicular help, the flat rooftops of the apartment blocks just outside this POI can be used as defensive points; climb onto the white garages, then onto the roof. Or, you can find Jay’s Garage; this is one of the few interior locations you can close up and hide a vehicle in. Or, climb the white extension in the yard behind the garage, to the roof of Steve’s surveillance store.
05 // Rossi-Fremont Apartments (Northeast)
This four-block set of apartments has similar aspects to them, but this one (used during the Exclusive Investigation: Signature Shot) is great to defend from; find the forklift and climb onto the low flat roof of an apartment complex. Note the steam pipe on the road and the infiltration points to defend.
06 // Rossi-Fremont Tenements (Iraq’s Yard) (East)
Iraq’s base of operations is filled with areas to crouch behind. The concrete pillars and ruined stairwell area, the white container near the propane tank, and the adjacent ctOS tower yard are great defensive positions. There’s only two entrances (one has a gate and steam pipe) and loads of cover.
