As you leave the body of Frank Janson, Badboy17 tells you that the partly-constructed ctOS Control Center in The Loop was recently attacked by DedSec, a shadowy hacker group. Since then, additional guards have been posted to the facility, necessitating a visit to the nearest Gun Shop; you may need more than sharp wits and a blunt baton for the infiltration to come! Head to the southwest part of The Loop, and park up near the Gun Shop.

Unfortunately, the cannon isn’t for sale; but you’re here for something a little more modern. Step into the store, and talk to the vendor. Bring up the menu of weapons for sale, and choose the 416 from the Assault Rifles. Optionally purchase “Assault” ammunition too. You’ll need a minimum of $1,200 for this transaction. If you don’t have this, hack some citizens’ Bank Accounts and make an ATM withdrawl.

Check the weapon wheel as you depart, but don’t go waving your new gun around in the store, as the vendor may think you’re wanting to rob the place. Similarly, an assault rifle on the city streets results in a witness call, and the arrival of the Police. Instead, head to the ctOS Control Center when you’re ready.
