Battle at the Bridge of Eldin
Author NoteBe sure you attack these three Twilit Messengers, as this causes a warp portal to open. We didn’t do this and consequently spent the rest of the game trying to figure out where to place the missing piece of bridge and taking the long route back to Kakariko Village! |
Ride Epona north, along the rocky path that takes you north and west, where the path splits around a hill. You can access the right path only if you’re traveling south. The path bends to the west, and you reach a bridge, where two Bulblins and an archer are waiting. Either ride through or stop and hack. The path eventually ends at a thick black wall. This is the last area of twilight!
Pouring Light into Lanayru Province
Midna pulls you into the twilight and you leave Epona behind, transforming into the wolf and running down a rocky path. Along the way, Twilit Keese swoop down to harass you. Autotarget them and bite down hard.
Continue down the path until you reach an object lying in the road. Turn your sense view on to see a pink scent emanating from it. Sniff it, and you realize this is Ilia’s purse! Forget the Youth’s Scent, and instead learn Scent of Ilia.
Scent of Ilia
You learned the Scent of Ilia!
With your sense view on, follow the trail of scent down the hill. On the way, there are four different dig spots and a few Twilit Keese to gnaw. As the path opens up to Hyrule Field (north), Midna recognizes that castle from your earlier exploits.
Missing Links
1. Digging for Rupees Down the Hill
The path has three patches of dig holes (Rupees and one eart near the scent) and some weeds on the right side hide two blue Rupees (5). After you pick up the scent, check for dig spot 1 (Rupees), dig spot 2 (Rupees and a Heart), and dig spot 3 (Rupee) before you enter the Hyrule Field (north).
