Task 6: Collect Both Heart Pieces

Chamber 6: First Return to Moving Wall Hallways (5F)

Treasure Chest: Head down the stairs without the statue, and you appear in the moving wall hallway. Quickly run to the circle on the ground and aim an arrow at the diamond switch, opening the wall up, but blocking in the statue on the other side of the fence. Just control the statue, walk it to the wall, and use the statue’s hammer to smash it! Then maneuver the statue onto the floor switch next to the electrical fence. This allows you in and around to ring the bell with the Ball and Chain. Unfortunately, nothing falls out. However, you can run to the chest and claim a piece of Heart.

You got a Piece of Heart! You collected five pieces and formed a new Heart Container! Piece of Heart #35 of 45.

Smash the pottery in this chamber for some yellow (10) and blue (5) Rupees, as well as arrows, then bring your statue friend down to the other hallway. Begin by smashing the Beamos, then turn around and smash the wall blocking your path to the middle of the chamber. Then place the statue under the bell teleport. Optionally activate the diamond switch and smash all the other walls and the Beamos.

Chamber 4: First Return to Central Mechanical Platform (5F to 4F to 3F)

Head back to this chamber immediately. The statue has arrived on the fifth floor ledge. Run to the central platform and push it clockwise twice, so it rises to the top floor. Bring the statue onto the platform, and then push the handle in the opposite direction, descending to the third (and in this case, ground) floor.

Drop the platform all the way to the third floor, bring the statue out onto the shallow ramp, and begin to pound the ground near and on the scurrying Baby Gohmas that have returned. Continue this until all are defeated and the electrical fence stops buzzing. Bring the statue around to the north, where the Beamos remained after you defeated it. Bash it with the statue’s hammer, and the Beamos collapses, but a dozen gooey Baby Gohmas appear from the rubble! Squash them with another hammer strike, now!

Poe Soul #53 Bring the statue around to the west side of this chamber, passing the gate with the bell behind it. Smash the gate here, and immediately change into wolf form. The gate holds an Imp Poe that must be defeated! Only seven more to go! Poe Soul You got the Poe Soul! Collect one from each Poe you defeat! Poe Soul #53 of 60.

Now smash any pots you need to. Move the statue to the north gate, and crack open the gate here. Maneuver your statue under the bell, and once it has been teleported, ring the bell with your Ball and Chain. A Fairy drops out! Clawshot, and then scoop it into an empty Bottle.

Chamber 5: First Return to Armos Antechamber (5F)

Before you return to the initial chamber, go back to the fifth floor, using two statuettes and placing them on the ledge just as you did before. Remember to stand on the ledge before you raise it! Head to the south door and enter the Armos Antechamber.

The Armoses have been replaced by a dozen Baby Gohmas and a couple of Young Gohmas. Run around slashing until they’re all defeated, as this makes the next tactic easier. Run to the far end of this chamber, near the open chest, and produce your Dominion Rod. Look for the statuette on the other side of the fence, and maneuver it down the channel to a floor switch. Now grab another statuette (there are two lying about), and throw it over the black fence on the opposite side.

Treasure Chest: Once the statuette is behind the fence, coax it down a similar channel to a second switch opposite the first. When both statuettes land on the switch, a chest appears in the eastern alcove. There’s a Piece of Heart inside. Only nine more Pieces of Heart are left to find!

Chamber 4: Second Return to Central Mechanical Platform (5F to 4F to 3F), to Chamber 3: First Return to Hexagonal Junction (3F)

Now it’s time to return to the initial chamber, so head back to the entrance to the Hexagonal Junction stairs, and descend. At the closed gate, Clawshot over, and then defeat an Armos at the junction itself. Try the mortal draw! Then coax the statue from under the bell and down the stairs.
