In multiplayer level duels, you’re pitted against another player. The first to five kills wins. Multiplayer is a great way to get resources fast. Here are a few tips to beat your opponent in this mode.
Sniper Cover
Try to stick to areas where you can see and shoot your opponent, but where they can only see as little of you as possible. Your head is the smallest target, and if this is all they can see, then you’ll likely dole out more damage before they can get a shot on you—especially if you are using a sniper.
Shotgunning
If you are using a shotgun, collect power-ups as often as you can since one of them is a power rush. Power rush lets you do increased damage, and with a shotgun, this would be very destructive.
Health
When you kill your opponent, you don’t regain full health; instead, your enemy drops a small health pack. Be careful while going for this health power-up. The returning opponent knows that location will be a good place to find you next.
Headshots
As with zombies, headshots are everything. Avoid just aiming for the body or you’ll be missing out on a lot of damage. If your opponent picks up the big head power-up, hide. With this power-up—as the name implies—your head becomes larger and they’ll have an easier time getting headshots.
