You are Carl, a government-installed landlord of a multistory apartment building in a dark, dystopian world, in a totalitarian State that controls every aspect of its citizens’ lives. The State employs you to spy on your tenants. This entails breaking into apartments when tenants are out; installing spy cameras; and stealing their personal items and selling them—or, if the items are prohibited, using them for evidence to get them arrested.
The State demands that you report anyone violating their laws or plotting dissident activities against the State to the authorities. However, you have a choice. You can either become a puppet of the State or side with those tenants who suffer from the same oppressive laws as you.
Every decision you make affects the way the story develops. This means there are multiple outcomes at the end of the game, which are a sum of the decisions you’ve made.
