If you want to experience everything the game has to offer, you must increase the value of your farm, which in turn unlocks improved eggs. The majority of your farm’s value is based on hen housing and the rate your farm earns money.
You can skimp on delivery vehicles (so long as they keep up with your egg production), but always upgrade hen housing when you can afford it. Even if you don’t have enough chickens to fill them, the value of the buildings on your farm is considerable.
