In the early stages of each game, focus on spreading your plague before it becomes deadly. Select cold/heat resistance abilities and early transmission options based on your starting country. Infect as many people as possible before the first fatality, since that event often kick-starts the search for the cure. If necessary, devolve random mutations that may lead to a premature death.
