Elimination marks are little upside down Y symbols that appear in blocks within the puzzle. The number of elimination mark symbol blocks determines how many rules you need to break in the puzzle to complete it—they could all be the same rule being broken. The block where the rule is being broken (for example, a white block could now be sectioned off with black blocks), must be sectioned off with the elimnation mark breaking its rule. You must always section off an elimination mark with the block that the mark is breaking the rule for.
