While there are instances of tilting your mobile device to influence the action on the screen, most of the controls require touch. Swipe with a single finger to move the camera view. Pinch with two fingers to zoom in or zoom out. Double-tap on points of interest to focus on them (you must pinch to zoom out again). Tap on items in your inventory to inspect them.
When you find objects of interest on the box, try different motions to interact with them. Their shapes typically provide a clue about what you must do to manipulate them. Tap on them to see if you can pick them up. Slide in different directions, or swirl your fingertip around to see if the object moves or turns.
Most objects that you find are used on the box to reveal a secret. Look for discolored or scratched surfaces on the box to see if there’s a hidden panel or keyhole.
In the first chapter, you obtain an eyepiece that stays with you. The special properties of the eyepiece allow you to see otherwise hidden markings. If you’re unsure of what step to take next, equip the eyepiece and carefully inspect the room for hints.
