Armor

• Leather Armor: Leather armor absorbs 28% of damage in a full set. Leather armor is also the only set of armor that can be dyed.

• Gold Armor: Gold armor is slightly more durable than Leather armor and absorbs 44% of damage in a full set.

• Chainmail Armor: Chainmail armor can only be obtained by killing Skeletons or Zombies wearing it, trading with Villagers, or by getting it in Creative mode. This armor absorbs slightly more damage than Gold.

• Iron Armor: Iron armor absorbs 60% of damage in a full set.

• Diamond Armor: Diamond armor absorbs a whopping 80% of damage in a full set.

• Elytra: This piece of armor gives no actual armor protection and is equipped in the chestpiece slot. It allows you to glide by pressing and holding the Jump button in the air.
