Linelight doesn’t limit the number of tries you have to clear a puzzle. You have unlimited lives, and when you restart the game, you return to the last puzzle you attempted to solve.
There are three sets of achievements in Linelight: reaching the end of a world, finding all yellow diamonds, and finding all green diamonds. Yellow diamonds are on the main track through each world.
Green diamonds are off the main track, at the end of an (initially invisible) purple path. For a hint about the locations of green diamonds, touch the circle in the top left to bring up a map, then look for white dots.
The large white circles that appear on the map when you touch Level Select act as checkpoints you can move to instantly. They’re unlocked as you complete puzzles and advance through the map. Use these checkpoints to reach green diamonds more quickly.
