Tap on the egg in the top right corner (or select Upgrade Egg from the main menu) to bring up the Egg menu, which shows your farm’s value and the value it must reach to unlock the next egg. Unless you are close to finishing a mission, restart your farm with the improved egg as soon as it’s available.
