The Butcher is a deadly foe in close quarters. His hand is an enormous blade that’s used to cut you to pieces or, when shot at, is used as a shield. He is virtually ineffective from medium to long range. Another great way to take this beast out is with explosives. Make sure to dodge his charge attacks and hit him in the back while you can. When his shield is up, he primarily tries to block his head, but his large legs are exposed. When his shield is up, use a sniper to be more accurate while aiming for his head. Butcher has a lot of health, so aiming for the head is in your best interest (as is the case with most zombies).
