Since more space means more cats can visit, save Gold Fish until you have enough to buy the Yard Expansion in the Shop. Not only do you double your available space, but you also unlock the Remodel feature, which changes the look of your Yard. Remodels don’t come cheap, meaning they’re a purchase you can put off for a while.
