The speed boost meter is at the top left corner of the screen. To maximize launch speed, try to tap right before the bar hits the top of the meter. You need to kill multiple monsters to fill this booster. Once you use the booster, the meter empties. Avoid taking damage while trying to fill the meter or the meter will decrease.
