What You Need to Know

Coins

Coins are earned by collecting treasure, breaking pots, completing missions, or purchasing them from the in-game store. Coins can be used to upgrade your weapons and armor or to purchase perks.

Upgrade Points

Upgrade points are earned by completing levels or can be bought with coins. They are used to upgrade your Health, Wrath, Attack, and Defense stats.

Treasure

Treasure is hidden throughout missions and can contain coins, health, wrath, or armory items. You can use “Ariadne’s Thread” to help you locate these more easily. If you choose not to use Ariadne’s Thread, you’ll know you are near treasure when an icon with a blue hand appears on screen.

Health

You regain health by killing enemies and breaking pots, or you can find health power-ups in chests. Keep in mind that blocking does not completely stop all damage inflicted.

Wrath

Wrath is the yellow bar below your health. Wrath is gained from killing enemies and performing executions. Wrath makes your heavy attacks more effective. If your wrath bar is full you can hold down the heavy attack button to unleash an area-of-effect attack.

Puzzles

Puzzles need to be completed to open pathways, continue story objectives, and open treasures. Grayscale puzzles are completed by turning the gray panels back to their original position to remake the original picture. You’ll know it’s in the right spot when color returns to the panel.

Block puzzles are completed by moving the blue blocks out of the way for the orange block to reach the other side of the puzzle.

Movement

When not in combat you can walk or run using the analog button on the left of the screen or by tapping the screen in the direction you want to go. While in combat, the left analog button allows you to dodge-roll.
