Best in Acceleration
Buggies are the quickest off the starting line. They are the lightest vehicles, which makes them great for stunts but very vulnerable to knockdowns by heavier vehicles. The strategy for speed is to use a buggy and use its speed to stay away from heavier vehicles looking to wreck you. The Ariel Nomad is one of the best buggies.
Best in Destruction
Monster trucks and pickups make up for slower speeds by being able to effortlessly knock down other vehicles and fences. Look for the special shortcuts closed off by heavy gates that only trucks can plow through. These shortcuts will make up for the truck’s slower speed. The more you destroy
the more nitro you can earn to keep up with and pass the other racers. The Ford 3-Window Coupe is one of the best well-rounded trucks.
Best in Nitro
Rally cars, such as the Volkswagen Beetle GRC, are tops in nitro refill speed and drifting. However, consider the Unimog U 4023. It may seem slow, but when you chain together the nitro hits you can add a consistent 27 mph boost to the truck, which makes it very competitive.
Best in Stunts
Buggies not only are fast but are also the best choice for performing stunts. Again, the Ariel Nomad is the top choice for pulling off stunts and stringing together drift and nitro combos.
Best in Speed
Muscle cars are the top choice for speed. You can’t go wrong with the Chevrolet Camaro SS, Subaru WRX STI GRC, or the Dodge Challenger SRT8. A good rally car can keep up, though, since they handle better and have better nitro performance. Muscle cars burn through nitro faster than any other vehicle.
Best All-Around
To get the best all-around vehicle type, you should try using an SUV like the Range Rover Evoque. They are durable, have good speed and handling, and are big enough to destroy smaller vehicles when in a nitro boost. Nitro boosts last the longest when using an SUV. Just don’t expect much from them in the stunt category.
