Lose Your Wanted Status

The easiest way to lose a wanted status when not on a particular mission is to start a new mission; there are no restrictions on starting a mission while being wanted. If you are just causing general chaos while trying to make some extra dough, then start a mission and finish it or fail it. When you return to the map your wanted status will be clear.
