Each soul egg boosts your income, so you want at least 10 to get a 100 percent bonus. There’s no harm in collecting more than 10 soul eggs first, so any point after 10 would work. Since soul eggs carry over each time you choose to prestige, you should wait until you at least double your stock of soul eggs before going for another prestige reset.
