Before you start crafting an item, go through the materials it requires and choose the highest quality ingredients available. You must split the stacks to view individual items, but you don’t want waste your time making something that starts out almost broken due to one bad ingredient.
Crafting works in reverse as well. A number of items can be deconstructed, allowing you to reclaim the ingredients that make up the item. Expect some degradation of quality if the item had been used before being deconstructed.
