Episode 4: Case Closed

Despite an incoming hurricane, Mendoza and Dao are sent back to the warehouse to look for any leads. This is the same location as the end of Episode 3, but the rear stairwell is completely open and the second floor is closed off.

Investigate Neltz’Warehouse

To progress in the episode, run up to the fourth floor office using the rear stairwell. Though, there are a few pieces of evidence to collect along the way.

Interact with the painting that hangs on the back wall to find a safe. Analyze the keypad with the Scanner to get the numbers to the access code. Drop the Scanner and use the keypad to find out what is inside.

Meet Khai

Return to the first floor and find Khai inside the storage container on the right.

Enter the Building

From the vantage point across the street, the player gets a good view of the area. Guards patrol all around the Domo Roboto building including the two adjacent rooftops. An alarm is spotted on the front and is guarded by two men. The objective is to get inside the middle warehouse through a door on the left side, located on the second floor.

There are many ways to get this done. It is possible to sneak around the left side, move a couple guys with distraction, and slip into the building. The direct approach can be taken, but a pulled alarm results in more enemies to take care of. Strategic, non-lethal takedowns are a good choice as they earn the most points toward your Expert Level. Grab the Grappling Hook from the nearby Tactical Gear case and let’s try the latter option.

Hop down and use the grappling hook on the right side of the building ahead to reach the rooftop. Find the lone criminal ahead, pull him away from the edge with a shell casing, and arrest him. Move around to the right where four more guards can be tagged below.

You can take care of these criminals in almost any order. Be careful of the two who stand guard on the rooftops on the other side of the warehouse. These two should be arrested out of sight from the other and before the two in front of the building. Be sure to disable the alarm when the chance arises. Once everyone has been taken care of, climb the steps on the left side of the Domo Roboto building and enter the door behind the air conditioner unit.

Apprehend Stoddard

Tag the criminals on the warehouse floor from inside the office before going downstairs. Draw the men away from the center of the room with shell casings and arrest them out of view of the others.

With the room clear, take the stairs down to a locked door. Force it open to enter the basement. Follow the corridor to an open door and arrest the guard inside who mans the security system. Access the camera controller to spot your objective.

Move into the grow house, where criminals tend to the plants. It is possible to crouch down and sneak through this room without confronting anyone until you reach the other side. To get those extra points though, simply walk down the aisles and arrest the guys who work on the herbs. Ignore their vision cones as they are too focused on their work to notice what is going on. A guard in the middle does pose more of a risk, but a flash of the badge takes care of him.

Two men block the door on the other side. Freeze them with your badge and cuff the suspects before entering the office.

Escape the Basement

The enemies are now after the detective as the basement is set on fire. With guns at the ready, run out of the office into the grow house. Enemies litter the basement and they are all gunning for the detective. Take cover whenever possible and kill the criminals who get in the way.

Escape to the Car

Retrace your steps out of the basement and into the warehouse. To the left of the office, press the button to raise the garage door and escape to the car.

Enter the Mall

The detectives park on the second floor of the parking garage, across the street from Palm Court mall. Look out the window and tag the enemies who patrol in front of the mall. A better view can be had from the third and fourth floors of the garage, but it’s not necessary. Once ready, take the stairs down to the ground floor and walk out onto the street.

An alarm hangs on the far left wall, so starting from that side is advisable. Work your way through the handful of enemies until you reach the entrance to the mall.

Find Khai

Enter the security office just ahead and use the camera controller to get an idea of what is in store ahead. Back in the mall, take one of the escalators up to the second floor. Pull the first criminal away from the edge of the balcony with a shell casing and cuff him. Use this opportunity to scan the first floor and balconies, tagging the guards who patrol the mall.

Stealthily walk around the balcony and take down the criminals who patrol the second floor, preferably away from the ledge. On the far side, ride the escalator down and separate the remaining group with distraction. Once they have been taken care of, continue through the mall by going through the exit.

Another security office is just ahead. Access the camera controller to find Khai and the four guys keeping her there. Take the nearby escalator to the second floor and pick the criminals off from above. Survivors ride up to your level, so be ready for them. After disposing of them, head back downstairs and enter Domo Roboto at the other end.

Get to Dawes

Return to the mall and follow your partner up to the second floor. Pry open the right door to reach the food court. The final group of Neltz’s men awaits the detectives below. As the winds get stronger though, they don’t plan to stick around too long. Quickly tag them and then drop down to the first floor.

Take out the criminals that get in your way while continuing through the mall. After the left turn, move to the right side to miss a rolling “O” and then sidestep left to miss the “P.” Run up the left steps and out the exit.
