As witall Crosshair matches, no matter the map, the police have a slight disadvantage, so it’s up to them to trick the criminals. Growhouse is no exception, however it is easier to slip away from the enemy witthe use of cover and all of the tight spaces that the alleyways and shipping containers provide on this map. You want to get out of your team’s deployment as quickly as possible and head to the outer perimeter of the Growhouse before beginning to slow down. It is imperative that you take your time and move from cover to cover on this map because the enemy is waiting for you around every corner. Get your better shooters to the roofs of the Growhouse and botthe nortand soutwarehouses because if your team can win the firefights that may happen up there, you have gained the upper hand. Without muctime in eacround, you must move quickly once your team has gained an advantage. Use the shipping containers and as many distractions as possible to set up blind spots and complicated ways for the enemy to find your VIP as he slips on by, straight to the extraction.

Playing on the criminal side is tricky on Growhouse because you have to coordinate heavily witthe rest of your team on whether you want to spread yourselves out or pick a specific location to watch. Picking a specific location on this map is incredibly risky, but witthe amount of cover that is provided you can stay hidden as the enemy passes you, giving you and your team a clear shot at their defenseless 6 o’clock. If you decide you don’t want to take the huge risk of creating a singular ambush, there are some great spots to set up in order to watceaclane. Get two shooters to the roof of the Growhouse as quickly as possible. If they set up on your side of the roof and watceacside they can take out any snipers looking to clear a patfor their VIP. Then your team should spread out the three on the ground, eacwatching one lane while keeping close to the deployment. There are many avenues the VIP can take, but they end up funneling to the three major lanes on the map.

In all Crosshair games, you want to change up your strategy from time to time. If your team feels like they have a handle on out-shooting the enemy they are more likely to brancout and rusthe opposing team’s deployment area. Growhouse makes the rusmethod extremely dangerous. Witall the twists and turns, alleyways, and warehouses, the police can easily turn the tables on the criminals by finding their own hiding spots and playing their own form of defense.

Playing as the VIP, it helps to take the safest route and to have at least one bodyguard wityou. The most concealed route is taking the underground patby running down the loading ramp and througthe underground Growhouse. There are only a few exits and if the other team is smart they are watching those carefully, so choose wisely. Taking the paths along the northern perimeter provides enougcover and allows your teammates to create distractions on the soutside, letting you to slip through.

Carrying a zipline and traveling to the roof in order to surprise the opposing team by zipping straight to one of the extractions can catcthe criminals off guard and leave them no time to rusback and kill the VIP. From the criminal side, you may want to carry a sabotage bomb, laser tripmines, and gas grenades. This allows you to control whicpaths the enemy must take to get to their objective, or at the very least tells you where they are when they either trigger or disarm your equipment.
