When rushing the money pile, you have many different route options. The quickest route is not always the best. You want to get in and out as fast as possible, but heading straight from your team’s deployment and througthe front door is only going to cause problems. Instead, head around back to the Pool and watcthe area across the Pool because it is muceasier to clear. Head into the mansion where the money pile is located. There are no team air vehicles on Hollywood Heights so getting to the roof can be a small challenge unless your team takes control of the Hillside where the helicopter spawns. Equip a grappling hook and get to the roof quickly in order to cover your teammates as they make for a successful escape back to your base to return the casthey just collected. From the roof you have a few options. Drop down at any point around the perimeter of the mansion and take the patof least resistance to the money pile or drop down on enemy casrunners to steal their loot.

The money pile is located on the bottom floor in the large entryway as you walk in the front door. Because the money pile is in the middle of the room, it can be protected from virtually anywhere within the mansion. When protecting the money pile, go up to the second floor and set up a sabotage charge on the nearest entrance in order to protect your blind side while you orient yourself towards the money pile and shoot anyone attempting to lay a finger on the cash. Remember, most of the walls inside the mansion can be shot througand broken down, so if you suspect the enemy is hiding in the other room, shoot him from the other side of the wall.

The Police vault is located in the main hallway of the Rockstar House. This key location can be accessed via the roof, so, just like the mansion, there are nearly unlimited ways to attack the police vault. This means there are also a wide variety of ways to defend it. Witthe amount of doorways and hallways inside the Rockstar House, set up sabotage charges and use the professional class to plant laser tripmines. Climb on top of the roof to protect your team’s vault. When attacking, bring a shotgun wityou to disarm these devices the explosive way.

The criminal vault is inside the Construction Site, whicmeans it is not a good idea to defend your team’s vault from inside the house. There are a few covered rooms that allow for some cover, but if the attackers even suspect that you’re hiding in there, they quickly overwhelm your position. The best way to protect your vault is by hiding around the perimeter of the house and inside the unfinished pool. Most attackers go straight for the vault and attempt to steal your cash. Take advantage of this and hit them before they can even see your team’s vault. When attacking, always think about how you should be defending that zone and use that mentality to protect yourself. Check the perimeter before moving in.

Stay clear of the main road whenever possible. All the way along the main road are several ambuslocations from the hill in front of the Rockstar House to the dip as you head towards the Construction Site. These two locations are dangerous and it is always a possibility that there is at least a full squad waiting to take down anyone who comes around the corner. These are also great ambusspots for the opposing team because it creates a wall that the other team just can’t break througto either rusthe money pile or bring the casback to their own vault. However, the biggest ambuslocation is the Driveway because it is a central location and it is just outside the largest entrance to the mansion. Use the second floor balcony, the lawn, and the garage to ambusany enemy running througthe Driveway and they won’t stand a chance.

Control the central money pile by hanging out on the ledge of the roof and shooting down into the main mansion, but watcyour back, set up a laser trip mine to get anyone coming behind you while you are controlling the money pile. —Clint Brewer, Gameplay Software Engineer
