Hollywood Heights is deceivingly larger than most maps in Battlefield: Hardline due to the intricate mansion in the center of the map containing multiple floors, rooms, and a maze of walls that can be very confusing. From Heist mode to Rescue, Hollywood Heights forces teams to develop smart and well-planned strategies in order to win eacfight. Equip your shotgun or submachine gun to bust down doors and take your enemy by surprise from above, below, and right to their face. This map has plenty of sabotage locations and Battle Pickups that give you and your team the advantage in any situation. Use the map’s ups and downs to get an edge on the enemies as you and your team take this small neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills by force.
Key Locations
The Driveway is the main battleground before entering the mansion. It contains a wide open space, not muccover, and gives you a great view for figuring out a way to enter the mansion. This is the location where botteams are most vulnerable. Wita straight shot to the garage and grassy green, you must be resourceful to survive and defend the Driveway successfully.
The Rockstar House has many rooms, a wide garage, and it’s on a large luxurious lot. There are a ton of corners to hide behind and room to change position in a pinch. Players can move around when they need to, but the location also allows good players to show their talent when circumstances call for a quick reactionary shot to the enemy. Move around, adjust to your surroundings, but stay quiet. If the enemy can hear you, they can also blow holes througthe walls to get to you.
The Pool is located right outside the back of the main section of the mansion and is illuminated more brightly than most places on this night map. In most modes, the pool is the central and most important key location on the map. It is the best way to get into the mansion and to catcanyone trying to escape from the upper floors. The solid walls of the pool rooms and large pillars holding up the overhead provide for excellent cover. Use them as mucas possible and control the Pool for the biggest advantage.
Hollywood Heights is where the riccome to enjoy their wealth. Celebrities love big, custom houses. The Construction Site calls for players to be accurate wittheir weapons and to trick their enemies witlure techniques and disorienting gadgets. Between the giant hole in the ground and the partially built frame of the house held up by wooden beams and a little bit of drywall, there is a great deal of cover, but none that should be trusted to last for very long. Most firefights result in cat and mouse games and outsmarting your enemy’s movements while you appear behind them without them having the slightest suspicion. Take your time and survey the Construction Site before doing anything risky because it could be your final move.
Peering over the city from the Hollywood Hills, the Hillside is the lowest point on the map and serves several different uses in almost every game mode. The Hillside may seem like a difficult and invaluable control point, but wita helicopter spawning here on Conquest and the large cliff from the edge of the Pool, it is a useful spot and it’s not impossible to defend. There is a small service room attached to the very end of the pool on the Hillside, it’s tougand can take a beating so use it when you need to and beware of the sideways sightlines that point in this direction.
