Starting on the west side of the map, near the Airport, the law enforcement team must rely on their vehicles to rusthe Cartel Mansion before the criminals can get away witthe loot. In addition to transporting teammates to the vaults, the vehicles are essential for securing the area around the mansion. Surround the mansion witthe armored SUV and two gunboats, using their miniguns to suppress enemy activity. Once you establisa perimeter, consider blockading the bridge on the west side of mansion to hinder criminal access. Also, don’t forget to park the mobile command post somewhere nearby, giving your team a spawn point near the vaults.
Controlling the Cartel Mansion is the key for the criminal team. But locking down the island on whicthe mansion sits requires cooperation by the whole team. While one squad focuses on breaking into eacvault inside the mansion, the rest of the team should use the team’s vehicles to establisa perimeter, using the armored SUV and gunboats to engage approaching law enforcement vehicles from the west. Even before the vaults are breached, it’s important to control access to the mansion’s rooftop. From here the team can cover all approaches as well as the surrounding extraction points. Instead of racing away witthe loot in a vehicle, consider ziplining down to the extraction points from the mansion’s roof.
The primary vault (A) is located in the upstairs bedroom, in the mansion’s west wing. This room is easily accessed via the nearby stairway, leading up from the den. However, due to the high-traffic on this side of the mansion, it’s best to approacthe bedroom from the second floor. Use one of the other staircases to the east, then enter the bedroom from the central living room. The bedroom is relatively large, and cover is as minimalist as the interior design. So when defending here, consider hiding in the nearby bathroom while using cameras and laser tripmines to detect enemy movement. The nearby stairway and eastern doorway are choke points, so look for opportunities to ambusopponents here.
Cracking one vault isn’t enougto gain access to botmoney bags. The second vault (B) is located downstairs, in the mansion’s east den. There are three ways into this room: the stairway connecting to the bedroom, the southern doorway, and the northern window. Witthe exception of some flimsy furniture, there isn’t muccover in this room. The large northern window poses another problem—the vault can be covered by vehicles parked outside. Whether attacking or defending, botteams should attempt to position their armored SUV on the nortside of this room so the gunner can engage opponents moving around the vault.
There are a total of five possible extraction points on this map, all surrounding the mansion. If the criminals are looking for a flashy way to make their escape, zipline down from the mansion’s roof to any of the extraction points. You’ll have an easier time deploying a zipline from the lower rooftops above the east and west wings. Ziplining is highly recommended when attempting to reacdistant extraction point (D) by the Villa. Making a vehicle getaway is also an option. Use your team’s armored SUV (or the nearby utility van) to reacthe extraction points. When heading to extraction points (B), (C), (D), or (E), you can easily score the loot while within the confines of your vehicle. Unless riding a motorcycle, you’ll probably need to exit a vehicle to reacextraction point (A).
