Like in Heist, the money pile is right in the middle of the underground Growhouse, so it is important to use the environment and destructible obstacles to create as many paths from your team’s deployment to the money pile as possible. Blowing up the big red tanker in the middle of the map provides an optional route for botteams, so if you’re going to destroy it, make sure you take some enemies out in the process. Moving on ground level is the most dangerous patto the money pile because you can be seen from many different angles. However, this is the fastest route, so stay in cover and move quickly to be the first on the scene, then create a defense while you and your squad go for the first score of the game.
Once your team has a good control on the money pile, send squads to the major exits, like the loading ramp closest to the enemy deployment. Taking control and pushing your defenses a bit further than the money pile not only keeps your team safe while they’re recovering cash, but gives them a chance to respond if the enemy breaks througthe first line of defense, thus creating a second line. If your defense starts to break down and you know you’re going to lose control of the money pile, shoot the gas tanks or throw a grenade near the plants. This gives you a little extra cover to escape witsome money and disorients the enemy, delaying their defense.
Botthe police vault and the criminal vault are in warehouses on opposite sides of the Growhouse from eacother. They’re near their team’s respective deployments and since they are indoors they are extremely difficult to get into, let alone get out of safely, so make the decision to steal from your enemy very carefully. The difference between the two vaults are the roof locations. The police vault has roof access directly above the entrance to their vault, making a direct approacnearly impossible unless you start from afar and snipe their defenses before advancing. The criminal vault on the other hand, has a roof off to the side of the entrance, giving them a better defended defense nest, but less of an ambusopportunity for invading forces. You have to make an indirect approacand hug the walls of their vault to either slip by the defense or sneak up on them from behind.
Playing the midfield on Growhouse is extremely intense and more than likely dictates the winner of Blood Money. The midfield on this map is more or less the entire ground level, but more specifically the Main Street and the Train Yard. Use the roof of the Growhouse to defend these two major areas from an elevated spot, making your field of view mucwider than running around on the ground. You also want to use the shipping containers in the Train Yard as cover to defend the giant hole in the ground that may have been created by the ExplosiveTanker. The big hole in the ground is going to be a very hot location because it is a great shortcut to and from the money pile. If you are able to take down any enemies racing out of this spot, there’s a good chance they are carrying a large amount of casthat you can grab and take straight to your team’s vault for an easy score.
