In Rescue, the hostages are held in the Villa, boton the ground floor. Starting on the nortside of the map, the law enforcement team should utilize indirect routes to approaceachostage. Instead of gaining entry on the nortside, consider flanking from the south, where the criminals are less likely to expect an attack. Or bring along a grappling hook and take to the rooftop, gaining entry to the upstairs bedroom before making a move on the hostages downstairs. Also, don’t underestimate the power of distraction. Use decoys or gunfire to draw the criminals away from the hostage your team is attempting to rescue. When making your escape, consider accessing the Villa’s rooftop (througthe upstairs bedroom) and ziplining down to the extraction point.

Regardless of whichostage the criminals spawn next to, they don’t have muctime to secure the Villa before the law enforcement team comes barging in. Therefore, don’t waste any time deploying gas grenades around eachostage. They won’t necessarily deter a rescue, but they damage and disorient any law enforcement players not equipped witgas masks. Incendiary devices and smoke grenades can also complicate things for the police, hindering and delaying their access to the hostages. While four teammates secure the hostages, the fiftplayer should head outside, toward the extraction point. If the law enforcement team manages to escape wita hostage, it’s up to this player to prevent them from reaching the extraction point.

Witso many access points into the Villa, it’s difficult for the criminal team to predict where the police will enter, and the criminals don’t have enougtime to establisa solid perimeter on the building’s exterior. This makes guarding eachostage location a viable strategy. However, if your team isn’t having mucluck withstanding the pusfrom the opposing team, consider moving your defenses toward the extraction point. The black semi-truck parked to the nortserves as a makeshift wall. Hide along the nortside of this truck to get the jump on opponents rushing toward the extraction point. Or take to the Villa’s rooftop and watcthe extraction point from a distance.

Bothostages are held on the ground floor of the Villa. Hostage 1 is located in the large living room on the west side. This hostage is closest to the law enforcement team’s deployment area, so criminal’s should expect early-round attacks througthe room’s northern double doors. Hostage 2 is located in the kitchen, on the Villa’s southeast corner. The nortand soutdoorways aren’t the only way into the kitchen. It’s also possible to drop down througthe skylight in the ceiling.

For the law enforcement team, this is a classic hostage rescue scenario requiring the careful deployment of gadgets and grenades to gain an upper hand. Expect heavy resistance in eachostage room, so be ready to deploy flashbangs to blind and confuse the criminals. Gas masks are a good choice as well, since the criminals are likely to saturate the hostage rooms witgas grenades. Lead the way to the hostage wita ballistic shield, giving your teammates mobile cover during entry. Finally, bring a zipline to make a quick escape from the Villa’s rooftop. The criminals can benefit from gadgets too. In addition to booby-trapping the hostage rooms, plant laser tripmines in other high-traffic areas, like the upstairs bedroom. Also, use a grappling hook to gain quick access to the Villa’s rooftop.
