  • Blood Money on Derailed takes place between the Logistics Center, Train Depot, and the Scrapyard, setting up a nice triangle which allows you and your team the decision on any tactic you wish to play. However, someone is going to have to rush the money pile at the beginning of the round, and the best way to do that is to first get someone on the roof of the Train Depot warehouse to fend off any enemies coming in from the distance. If you can spawn on this person or others spawn on you, it is a perfect location to drop down from the skylight right onto the money pile. This is a great place to drop a satellite phone because it’s not quite on the money pile so it will stay safe, but it is extremely close, allowing your squad to drop right on to the money pile. Once your team is inside and has a good flow of money getting back to base, you want to set up defenses. Having someone on the roof at all times covers a major entrance, but you need a squad or two inside the warehouse covering each ground floor entrance. They are large and it is very easy to fit a small army of attackers through, making it difficult to defend.
  • The money pile is located in the Train Depot which means it’s off to the side of the center of the map, creating a large area of play to the north-west. It is important to keep your helicopter hovering and strafing the area around the Train Depot, adding another challenge to the enemy that further deters them from wanting to rush the money pile while your team takes all that they can.
  • The police vault it located dead center in the middle of the Logistics Center, so just like defending the Train Depot, you can defend the police vault in the same fashion. You don’t have to have someone guarding the roof, but finding a battle pickup and heading up there is a formidable way of fending off enemy vehicles attempting to steal from you. Attacking the police vault can be a little difficult to navigate because there is one main entrance. Drive up the ravine underneath the Tram Bridge and go around the Logistics Center, ending up in the back. From here you can see the open loading zone that is perfect for parking a vehicle close to and having all of your passengers load up on enemy cash before heading back to your base the same way.
  • The criminal vault it located in the larger of the two buildings in the Scrapyard, a great location to defend from outside the building itself. Across the path is the second building in the Scrapyard that has a direct line to the vault and an upstairs office section that can be used as a guard tower because the windows can be shot out and used as cover when the enemy comes racing through the main gate. The only problem with holing up in the other building is that there is a staircase on the opposite side of the vault building that the enemy can access. This requires a guard or two holing up in the scrapped cars, watching the staircase and anyone breaking through the fences on this side. As long as there are friendly defenders in those two areas your team will at least have the entrances covered. However for added security you want to send the rest of the defending squad to pick off any that squeeze through the outer defenses. When attacking the criminal vault, the only reason you should attack from the front is if you have a fast vehicle that protects you from the incoming defender fire, so you can slip through and drive into the warehouse. The best and safest, but slowest, way to approach this vault is to take the ravine all the way around to the farthest side of the vault. Run your way to the building across from the vault to take out their defenders and place a satellite phone so that your squad can recoup there. From here, you can begin your attack on the vault and use the car you have parked in the back to make a quick getaway.
  • The main ambush points on this map are going to be three points along the ravine that leads underneath the Tram Bridge, including the Tram Bridge itself. Unless the Tram Bridge has been blown up, it is a prime location for snipers to post up and kill anyone moving from the money pile back to their vault. This bridge is a little more useful for the criminal side since it is parallel with the escape route for the cops, but that’s also why it is valuable to both sides. Along with the bridge, it is important to get through the ravine quickly and avoid everything in your path. It is one giant kill-box because of the elevated sides. Set up a barricade on the smaller bridge by the criminal spawn and use it to destroy any vehicles driving through the ravine attempting to attack the criminal vault or escaping with your money.
