Team Deathmatctakes place in the busiest section of Downtown. Most of the action on this map happens between the Garage and the Bank witthe Tower sitting right in the center of the fun. The two major streets are the lanes in whicmost of the sniping and mid- to long-range battle happens, so break out those 4x and 8x scopes for those shots that can only be made witthe right optics. Most firefights happen around the atrium, whicis the building in the middle witthe glass roof and very wide open balcony, it is where the money pile in Blood Money is located and acts as the central location where botteams meet if they run straight toward eacother after deploying.

If you and your team can successfully enter the atrium and set up defenses at every door, it acts as a formidable stronghold. The atrium is a large building and has plenty of room to set up laser tripmines and sabotage charges, not to mention very narrow doorways, so it is a great spot to hole up in, if your entire squad and maybe another is in there wityou to cover all entrances. Another great stronghold is the very bottom floor of the Tower, also in the center of the map. The lower part of the Tower is at the lowest point on the map, but it is one of the only locations that has solid walls and a minimal amount of ways to get in. This parking garage not only has just a few ways to get in, but it is also mucsmaller than most locations so it only takes a single squad to protect it. If things get too hairy, be sure to escape out the main entrance to the street or up the elevators to the lobby of the Tower.

Like all modes, on Downtown there is a role for every class. However, witonly a couple of areas to really be able to use the long range weapons like the bolt-action sniper rifles, keep the amount of professionals on your team to a minimum of two or three. Enforcers and mechanics really thrive in Team Deathmatcbecause unless you’re on the street, the enemy is going to be right in your face witsilenced P90s to keep their movements hidden and witdouble-barrel shotguns when breaking througdoors looking for quick kills.

When you and your squad are on the move to either breaca stronghold or find one of your own, stay off of the streets as mucas possible. The main streets are hunting grounds for snipers and operators equipped witassault rifles. There are plenty of hiding spots along these streets, so, if you need to, duck behind a car or in a busto avoid being seen so that you can move on safely.
