Battlefield Hardline eGuide Classes and Weapons

Special Weapons

Instead of carrying a handgun as a sidearm, all classes can opt to equip one of these special weapons. These non-lethal weapons are available to all classes and factions, providing unique ways to neutralize and track the enemy.

T62 CEW
$21,000

The T62 CEW has short-range non-lethal takedown capability. Interrogate a stunned opponent to find out where his nearby teammates are.

Field Notes

This is essentially a stun gun which fires two small metal darts into the target. The darts are tethered to the weapon via wires, allowing them to deliver an incapacitating jolt of electricity. Once a target has dropped to the ground, interact with their body to perform an interrogation. This reveals the locations of the target’s teammates on the minimap for a limited time, giving your team a brief but significant advantage. But the T62 CEW is not a long-range weapon. For best results, use it when approaching opponents from behind and close within five meters before firing. Holster the weapon during firefights; you don’t want to get into a gun fight with this weapon. The weapon comes equipped with 11 darts. More can be retrieved from an enforcer’s ammo box.

Tracking Dart
$16,200

Fire and attach the tracking dart to enemy players and vehicles, spotting them in-world and on your minimap. This allows rockets to lock on to the target.

Field Notes

A popular weapon fromBad Company 2, the tracking dart has made its return, offering a unique way to tag and track enemy targets. This is an air pistol loaded with tracking darts. When an enemy is tagged with one of these darts, they’re immediately highlighted on the HUD, appearing as a red silhouette visible to your entire team, even when they’re hiding behind cover. Their location is also permanently marked on the minimap. Tracking darts work equally well against infantry and vehicles. The dart inflicts minimal damage when striking opponents, but it’s unlikely to be fatal unless the target has already suffered severe damage. The tracking dart is most effective against speeding vehicles as the darts allow rockets to home-in on the target. This works with the RPG and SMAW Battle Pickups, but not the Stinger. When you have one of these rocket launchers, aim toward the marked target to achieve a lock before firing. The rocket zooms-off toward the target, automatically making in-flight adjustments to zero-in on the tagged vehicle. This is a very effective and rewarding way to take down pesky enemy helicopters. The weapon is equipped with 11 darts, but you can retrieve more from ammo boxes.
