At the start of a round, the law enforcement team should make an aggressive aerial pusto the west, utilizing their transport helicopter and patrol helicopter to assist in capturing the central control points, including the Radio Antenna (A), Motel (B), and MetCompound (C). Players in slower moving ground vehicles can capture the Mine (D). Witfour control points under your control, hunker down and defend, bleeding the opposing team’s ticket count.
Like the police, the criminals should use their helicopters in the early moments of the round to gain a foothold on the map’s central control points. In addition to capturing the three central control points, the criminals should also take control of the Gas Station (E). Establishing control of at least three control points is all it takes to begin draining the other team’s tickets.
Witthe exception of a fuel tanker at the Motel (B) and a sedan at the MetCompound (C), there aren’t any other vehicles tied to holding the control points. Due to its central location, the Motel (B) usually sees the heaviest action and serves as a great spawn point for those seeking stay close to the fight. The rooms upstairs also offer decent vantage points of the surrounding area. Instead of grinding it out at the Motel (B), and losing tickets in the process, consider focusing on control points on the perimeter of the map. Sometimes holding the Motel (B) is simply too costly. The MetCompound (C) to the nortis a bit more defensible while offering a clear view of the map’s central locations.
Dust Bowl is a large map witsome extremely long sight lines. As a result, the weapons offered by the operator and professional classes are well-suited for this environment. Mechanics and enforcers armed witSMGs and shotguns may have some success when fighting within the MetCompound (C) and Mine (D). But these close quarter weapons are outmatched when moving beyond the confines of these locations. Enforcers are better off equipping the more versatile battle rifles in this game mode. Given the size of this map, ziplines are a very effective form of travel. When spawning at the Radio Antenna (A) or MetCompound (C), ziplines can be used to quickly access the lower elevation control points in the map’s center.
