Starting in Episode 1, after receiving the Scanner, you can scan your environment for potential evidence. The upper-left corner of the HUD lets you know how many pieces you’ve found and the total number in the current area. The distance to the nearest item is also displayed. The controller vibrates when the player is near evidence. The following content details the location of each piece, along with the reward for completing the case files. Collecting the evidence is optional beyond the first episode, but doing so earns valuable expert points as well as three Achievements/Trophies.
