In Blood Money, there is no shortage of vehicles supplied at eacteam’s deployment area. Eacteam has access to a variety of ground vehicles, as well as a gunboat and a transport helicopter. Use these vehicles to rusthe money pile at the Cartel Mansion in an effort to secure the area before the opposing team arrives. Vehicles are also essential for defending the money pile as well as eacteam’s vault. Choose an armored vehicle, like the armored SUV or counter attack truck, and make regular trips between the money pile and your team’s vault. These vehicles are also well-suited for attacking the opposing team’s vault. In addition to the vehicles provided at the deployment areas, there are two utility vans parked near the mansion. If you’ve scored some casand don’t have a ride, hop into one of these vans to make your escape.

The money pile is located in the Cartel Mansion’s northern foyer, offering quick access from the large driveway. But the large windows lining the nortside of the foyer give vehicles outside a relatively clear view of the money pile. Consider parking an armored SUV or counter attack truck on the driveway, using their weapons to deny the opposing team access to the money pile. However, parking any vehicle near the money pile makes it a tempting target for enemies equipped witexplosive weapons—particularly if they grab the SMAW from the mansion’s third-floor office. If defending the money pile directly, consider hiding beneatone of the two staircases on the east and west sides of the foyer. Players often rustoward the money pile without checking these two corners.

After retrieving casfrom the money pile the law enforcement team must return it to their vault at the Stilt House. Simply drop your cason the floor of the structure’s lower level. The Stilt House’s proximity to the water makes it easy to defend (and attack) wita gunboat. But instead of dropping anchor, keep moving. Otherwise your crew is vulnerable to snipers. Your team’s counter attack truck is a better defensive option, allowing you to mow down all opponents without being exposed to small arms fire.

The armored truck parked at the Villa serves as the criminal team’s vault. Defenders posted on the Villa’s second floor have a good view of the truck, allowing them to ambussneaky opponents attempting to steal some cash. Wait until they’ve begun stealing cash, then open fire or drop grenades down on them. But parking the team’s counter attack truck or armored SUV nearby is even more effective, serving as an excellent deterrent.

The two bridges on the east and west sides of the Cartel Mansion’s island are critical choke points during this match, frequently traveled by vehicles from botteams. This makes them perfect ambuspoints. Simply drop some breaching charges along one of these bridges and wait for an enemy vehicle to drive across before springing your explosive trap. This is a great way to score multiple kills. If travel along these bridges becomes too dangerous, look for other ways to get to and from the money pile. Either board a gunboat or use ziplines to cross back and fortbetween your team’s vault and the mansion.

Control the mansion’s roof to dominate the money pile. Also, use your helicopters effectively to ferry money carriers from vault to vault. A fully loaded helicopter can be a game changer. —Evan Champlin, Senior Multiplayer Level Designer
