When starting a round of Blood Money on Dust Bowl, you may notice that the objectives are set up in a triangle formation making it a tougchoice whether to play the midfield or attack the money pile. If you choose to attack the money pile, the safest way to get there is by taking a vehicle up the outside road towards the back of the large house where the pile is stored. The money pile is located on the second floor of the house, so if you get there first take the quick route from the ground floor up the stairs. If you happen to get there a little late, get the drop on the enemy by using the grappling hook to get to the roof and take out the enemy attempting to gather the first score.

Once you’ve gathered the cash, get to the roof and grab the zipline Battle Pickup. From the roof, you can see your team’s vault no matter whicteam you’re on. If you set the zipline as close to the drop point as possible, you can zip all the way down for a quick return.

Looking down the road from the balcony that is directly east of the money pile you can see the police vault located in the house between the Mine and the Motel. Like most of the Blood Money vaults in Battlefield: Hardline this one is protected by cover on the side facing the money pile, but it is possible to send a zipline througthe access door of the police vault. When defending this vault, it is possible to see the drop location from outside the door on the east side and staying right outside the house keeps you protected from attackers, but also keeps you close to your cash.

From the roof you can look to the west and see the diner, where the criminal vault is located. If you aim the zipline right above the eastern door you can swiftly ride it straight into the criminal’s vault. Just like the police vault, you can defend it from right outside the door, this time on the western side. However, this is where controlling the Motel becomes essential; you can cover your team while they run in the front door of the criminal vault and you can kill attackers running toward it.

The Motel is extremely important on this map and this mode is just another example that proves it. Whichever team controls the Motel can move freely from their deployment to the money pile or the opposing team’s vault under protection. Use the attack helicopters to clear out the Motel, but be aware of professionals shooting pilots out of their vehicles.

Use the roads less traveled to transport money back and forth. The main highway is typically well defended by botteams. —Evan Champlin, Senior Multiplayer Level Designer

Disabling the hacker gas trap at the money pile is a good move if your Hacker is not on the ball. —Thad Sasser, Lead Multiplayer Designer
