- This is a very linear Conquest match, with only three control points lined-up in a neat row. Since the police begin on the east side of the map, they should make an early-round rush for the Main Hall (A) and Apartments (B). There are no vehicles, so sprinting is key to reaching the Apartments (B) before the criminals. Task one squad with securing the Main Hall (A) while the rest of the team heads directly for the Apartments (B). Capturing and controlling the Apartments (B) early is the key to getting an early round drain on the opposing team’s ticket count.
- The criminal strategy doesn’t differ much from the police strategy. But instead of taking the Main Hall (A), the criminals should grab the Foreclosed House (C) with one squad while the rest of the team rushes to secure the Apartments (B). Once again, sprinting is key. Upon reaching the Apartments (B), secure the second floor and fire down on the opposing team funneling in from the east side.
- Without a doubt, the Apartments (B) are the focal point of this Conquest match. But its central location isn’t the only reason this control point is worth fighting for. The rooftops here are some of the highest points on the map, giving snipers an excellent view of the surrounding area. But there’s no easy way to access these rooftops, so bring along a grappling hook to make your ascent. Even if you can’t get to the rooftop, the second floor windows offer great vantage points. Also, don’t forget the RPG battle pickup located on the playground in the courtyard. You only get two shots, so make them count. But remember, if the Apartments (B) get too hot, and your team is losing too many tickets, fall back and capture the Main Hall (A) and Foreclosed House (C) to secure the drain on the opposing team’s tickets.
- Of all the Conquest matches in Battlefield: Hardline, this is one of the most frantic, requiring thoughtful loadouts and careful spawning. Chances are you’ll be operating in a variety of close-quarter and intermediate range environments. This makes the operator class a safe bet, as their assault rifles and carbines are well-suited for any of these locations. But those tasked with defending the Main Hall (A) or Foreclosed House (C) may benefit from the close-quarter power of a mechanic’s SMG or enforcer’s shotgun. Given the fast-action of this match, playing as a professional can be tricky. But if you’re up for the challenge, settle on a good DMR over a bolt-action rifle. You’ll be grateful for the higher rate of fire.
