“A change is gonna come for all of us.”
Fireteam Osiris’s investigations of Apogee Station turned up far more than they’d bargained for. Not only did they find Blue Team there, but Osiris also discovered a massive Forerunner installation buried deep underground. This facility was the lure that brought Blue Team to Meridian, and it turned out to be the resting place of a gigantic Forerunner Guardian.
After surviving a harrowing encounter with a Promethean warrior known as the Warden Eternal, Osiris nearly succeeded in capturing Blue Team, but the Spartan II group managed to elude arrest by hopping into a slipspace portal spawned by the Guardian. The destruction caused by the titan’s awakening prompted Fireteam Osiris to flee back to Meridian Station, where a full-scale evacuation is already underway.
The Guardian’s awakening is wreaking havoc across Meridian; earthquakes generated by the titan threaten to rip the planet apart. Although Blue Team managed to elude capture, you can’t afford to worry about them now. Your mission is one of survival: Flee Meridian Station, return to the Space Elevator, and make your way to the top, where Fireteam Osiris’s Pelican is docked.
