Objective: Finish the Fight
This is it: Cortana is just moments away from sending her Guardian into slipspace with Blue Team. Your only hope is to destroy the relay that’s blocking Exuberant’s control over the station. Advance across the bridge ahead, heading for the relay device at the far end.
Cortana’s Guardian sends out massive shockwaves, signaling that its slipspace jump has been initiated. Each blast knocks you to your knees, but you must press forward, or Blue Team will be lost. Soldier onward, Spartan, heading directly toward the relay device.
When you reach the relay device, Locke rips it apart with his bare hands. Destroyed, the relay no longer blocks Exuberant’s influence over the station. Exuberant Witness finally has control again.
You’ve done your part; the rest is up to Exuberant. The little monitor can’t stop Cortana’s Guardian from entering slipspace, but it does manage to reclaim the Cryptum by sending a flock of Constructors to snatch it away from the Guardian just before it slips out of sight. Blue Team is saved!
At long last, Spartan Locke has succeed in his vital mission. Blue Team has been rescued, yet the Master Chief is deeply troubled that Cortana couldn’t be stopped. Despite all of their efforts, the Reclamation has begun. Humanity’s future is uncertain, but one thing is clear: We’re better off with the Chief by our side!
