Mission Intel — Halo 5: Guardians eGuide

Every mission in Halo 5: Guardians contains special items that can be discovered and scanned to unlock bits of intel. Most of these items are data pads that contain audio logs recorded by various characters. The walkthrough guides you toward each intel item, and Locke’s Artemis system can help you track them down. For convenience sake, the locations of all Mission Intel items are also revealed her

Mission 1: Osiris Intel

2	Covenant data pad	On a low ledge on your left as you exit the ice cave with a Spartan Charge.
3	Covenant data pad	Atop a tall rock formation near the entrance to the Forerunner security station.
4	Covenant data pad	On a low ledge on your right as you pass through the cave where the Kraken is first sighted.
5	UNSC data pad	On a ledge to the right of the entrance to the Forerunner structure where Dr. Halsey is being held.
6	UNSC data pad	On the floor near the window inside the Forerunner structure where Dr. Halsey is being held.
7	UNSC data pad	On the platform to the right of the door that leads to Dr. Halsey and the mission’s end.

Mission 2: Blue Team Intel

1	Argent Moon computer	Along the starting path, just before encountering the first few Grunts.
2	Argent Moon computer	Near a weapon rack in the corridor with the first few Jackals and Elites.
3	UNSC data pad	Atop a high platform at the far end of the assembly bay where the ONI stealth ship is being built.
4	UNSC data pad	In the room where you fight the Energy Sword Zealot, in a side room that’s accessible by crawlspace.
5	Argent Moon computer	Just beyond the windowed corridor where you witness the Covenant fleet emerge from slipspace.
6	UNSC data pad	On the floor in the lab where you encounter the Hunters.
7	Argent Moon computer	In the Reactor Core area, near the entry point.
8	Argent Moon computer	Near the windowed corridor that overlooks the Prowler.

Mission 3: Glassed Intel

Mission 4: Meridian Station Intel

Mission 5: Unconfirmed Intel

6	UNSC data pad	In the mine, on a high ledge on the right that’s accessible by traversing thick pipes.
7	UNSC data pad	In the mine, at the far left end of the long walkway that leads to the pit that you drop into to reach the Forerunner facility.

Mission 6: Evacuation Intel

5	UNSC data pad	On the scaffold, on a lower area below the spot where you battle the first few Soldiers near the crane.
6	UNSC data pad	On the scaffold, on a large beam just downstairs from the case of Battle Rifles.

Mission 7: Reunion Intel

2	Covenant data pad	Above the wreckage of the downed Phantom where the first battle occurs.

4	Forerunner console	In the nook beneath the Shade Turrets that defend the second Forerunner structure.
5	Forerunner console	In the subterranean passages where the Prometheans appear, near a waterfall accessible by taking a side passage on your left as you enter.
6	Forerunner console	In the subterranean passages where the Prometheans appear, near a pit abouthalfway through.
7	Forerunner console	Just in front of the third Forerunner Structure, which is defended by the Warden.

Mission 8: Swords of Sanghelios Intel

1	Ancient Sangheili Sword	Ruin near the start, on your right.
2	Covenant data pad	Ruin near the large Sangheili statue on you left as you approach the first battle.
3	Covenant data pad	First battle area, in the nook to the right of the Shade Turret.
4	Ancient Sangheili Sword	First battle area, in a low, watery nook near the central waterfall.
5	Covenant data pad	In the ruin beyond the first battle, atop a rock with a dead Elite that’s been impaled by an Energy Sword.
6	Ancient Sangheili Sword	Atop a tall rock spire in the sinkhole area, near the top.
7	Covenant data pad	On a low ledge on the left side of the sinkhole area.
8	Covenant data pad	Near a fallen Elite just outside of the ruin beyond the sinkhole.
9	Covenant data pad	In the secret area beneath the broken bridge that’s accessible by performing a Ground Pound.
10	Covenant data pad	In the area after you acquire the Mantises, on a ledge near the base of an Elite statue.
11	Covenant data pad	In the big battle area with the Wraiths and Hunters, in a high chamber accessible through a hole in the far wall.
12	Covenant data pad	Just outside the Elder Council Chamber, in the water on the right.

Mission 9: Alliance Intel

7	Covenant data pad	On the edge of the cliff, near a pair of Elites near the Pelican.

Mission 10: Enemy Lines Intel

1	Ancient Sangheili sword	At the end of the river that lies just ahead of the starting point.
2	Covenant data pad	On your left as you enter the ruin across from the river.
3	Covenant data pad	On your left as you emerge from the ruin and have your first encounter with the Kraken.
4	Covenant data pad	In a small side tower near the spot where the Covenant placed Plasma Turrets and a shield.
5	Covenant data pad	In the area with the Ghosts, in a side tunnel on your left.
6	Covenant data pad	Near the end of the area with the Ghosts, atop a tall rock formation.
7	Covenant data pad	In the temple grounds, on the ledge that overlooks the cave with the Ghosts.
8	Covenant data pad	In the temple grounds, in the secret passage beneath the bridge that leads into the temple.
9	Covenant data pad	In the temple grounds, on a ledge on the side of the cave with the Ghosts.
10	Forerunner console	On a Forerunner platform off to the side in the area where you battle the Kraken.

Mission 11: Before the Storm Intel

3	Covenant data pad	Under a tent near the Arbiter.
4	UNSC data pad	Atop the large statue near the Arbiter (take the side trail to reach it).
5	Covenant data pad	On the far edge of the high flat rock near the medical tents (jump and climb up the tents to reach it).

Mission 12: Battle of Sunaion Intel

2	Control console	Inside the building on your left as you advance down the street beyond the second AA turret.
3	Covenant data pad	In the undercity, above the shuttered door of a small building.
4	Covenant data pad	In the undercity, up on a building on one end of the bridge where a Spirit deploys Covenant troops.
5	Covenant data pad	In the undercity, on one of the side platforms at the spot where you battle the Hunters.
6	Ancient Sangheili Sword	Among the carnage you discover when you return to the surface.
7	Covenant data pad	On the second floor of the broken building you enter after the Guardian appears.
8	Ancient Sangheili Sword	Near the slope of rubble you ascend to reach the Arbiter.

Mission 13: Genesis Intel

1	Covenant data pad	Near the two parked Ghosts just outside of the Forerunner facility where you obtain the Scorpion.
2	Covenant data pad	At the edge of the cliff in the first big battle area.
3	Broken Constructor	On the rocky cliff that overlooks the Fuel Rod Cannons in the first big battle area.
4	UNSC data pad	Atop the wreckage of the downed Pelican that lies just beyond the Forerunner security gate.
5	Forerunner console	On a Forerunner platform on your left as you emerge from the tunnel beyond the Forerunner security gate.
6	Broken Constructor	Atop a tall rock near the overpass in the second big battle area.
7	UNSC data pad	On the rocks at the point where the road turns and leads downhill toward a Light Bridge.
8	Covenant data pad	Near the corpse of a fallen Elite near the spot where the Warden first appears.
9	UNSC data pad	On a Forerunner platform on your right as you advance past the first Warden battle.
10	Forerunner console	To the left of the entrance to the Forerunner Gateway.

Mission 14: The Breaking Intel
